Awesome Moroccan Food
Kous Kous is one of a quite a few Moroccan restaurants in San Diego and I believe it is one of the best. It's cool, authentic, luxurious, exotic with some really great food and service. My favorites are the shrimp brochettes & juicy lamb shank tagine. The prices are very reasonable and it's a great experience. Check it out. It's great for a date!

Foodgasm
Just went here for lunch today and I have already made plans to come back for dinner. The atmosphere is great - some of the seating is actually really comfortable couches and the Moroccan theme is well covered but not tacky. There's a cute waiting area/lounge with books.

Food:
B'stila roll - stuffed and baked phylo that is the perfect blend between salty and sweet. It's heaven.
Lamb sandwich - I have died and gone to heaven. I think this could arguably be the best lamb I've had in my entire life. I can eat this for days on end.
Seafood tagine - I thought the sauce was average. However, the cous cous, when mixed with the garnish is definitely worth it.

The service was wonderful too! Loved the waiter.

Kous Kous in Hillcrest
I recently discovered this little Morrocan restaurant hidden on 4th Ave. in Hillcrest. Although it is hard to find, it is worth a visit. Other than being a little pricey, I thought this restaurant was great. The wait staff was very friendly, knew a lot about the menu and answered all of our questions. We were seated immediately, greeted promptly and our food came out very quickly. The quality of the food was also excellent. I highly recommend the chicken brochettes. The mashed potatoes are also very good, as well as the kous kous. The portions were not huge, but weren't too small.

Best Sangria in San Diego!‎
A friend and I have been going weekly to different restaurants for the sole purpose of finding the best sangria in san diego. This is it! The fruit and hint of spice (cinnamon / clove) and a perfect blend of wine and rum served here was far and away the best we've come across yet. The food is phenomenal (the eggplant appetizer is to die for), the ambiance relaxing and the service was excellent. 10 out of 10.‎

Moroccan Experience
The waiter taught us a lot about Moroccan food and how to eat certain dishes. I had the Harira and the Veggie Berber Tagine. I also learned so many different ways of preparing couscous. It was a great experience. ...
